Snow Globes!
We got the bright idea to reuse our old salsa jars! (We go through a lot) So we went to where else...Wal Mart and got a few small plastic ornaments and some white chunky glitter!
And here is our finished product! Poor little guy got a little chubby in water lol As always I hope you enjoyed this simple DIY and I also hope you give it a try!
Then busting out my hot glue gun I glued our little penguin to the lid...waited for it to dry then filled the jar with glitter....water...and a wee bit of corn syrup.
After that part was finished...I added some ribbon to cover the bottom (lid of salsa jar) and made a cute little bow for the top! Super simple but of course there was glitter everywhere! I have now become addicted and plan to make some for my sons teachers for gifts! Only cost me 2.00 really bc the ornament and ribbon were 1.00 a piece can't beat that!

Early start on Halloween!
This whole witch is made up of items from the dollar tree...except the styrofoam...not really sure where I picked that up :D I just shaped and molded my styrofoam and hot glued where I thought it would work best! Covered it in the table cloth cutting the excess off of course! I also used hot glue on the face and hands to keep them from falling off outside!
The shroud the witch face and hands and also not pictured is a plastic black table cloth all for a buck! :D didn't get any during pics but it sure was quite a mess...I'm sorry you missed it!
And the finished product...whatcha think? I would've done it outside to make better pics and less mess but let's face it it's still August and I'm 9 mos pregnant! I hope everyone enjoyed my little creepy witch! Can't wait for the trick or treaters!!!!!

Flip Flop Wreath Time!
Bought bunches of flip flops from the Dollar Tree and our local craft store for .50-1.00 a pair and I went crazy with my hot glue gun! Once I made the first one everyone in my family wanted one and so I get to see my work on everyone's door when I visit! Brings a smile to my face!
The flowers and butterflies were also purchased at the dollar tree! Along with the "JEWELS"
The bows are made from tulle from the craft store! So easy to make and a great way to show how ready for warmer weather you are! ;-)

DIY Baby mobile!
I have recently learned that my husband and I are expecting a baby girl in september! I decided I am super excited to get to craft cute girly things! I made this mobile out of a hat washer fishing line and some flowers I put together from dollar store floral arrangements.
It wasn't as simple as I thought it'd be but the finished product was sure worth it! I used hot glue to secure the strings and the flowers to the strings.

It really came out much better than I expected and I am super excited for the baby to get here now!
